Graveside services for Orvel Keith Prater of Albany were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2006 with Bill Barnett officiating.

Orvel Keith Prater passed away on April 11, 2006 in Durant at the age of 48. He was born on November 30, 1957 in Antlers to Limmie Orvel and Beatrice (Cogburn) Prater. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Prater, Dexter Cogburn, Threse Cogburn, Jim Prater and Estelle Prater.

Orvel is survived by his father, Orvel Prater, and his step-mother, Lynn Prater of Albany; one brother, Lee Paul Prater of Albany, and one step-brother, Ken Puyear of Albany; three sisters, Anita Ruth Cooper and Regina Rayburn, both of Fort Towson, and Edith Anderson of Hugo; 10 nieces and nephews, three great nieces and nephews and a host of aunts and uncles.
