Morgan Simpson, 53, of 222 Willow Creek Dr., died yesterday.
Services are pending with Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel
.
Mr. Simpson was born in Blossom. He had lived in Amarillo 30 years. He retired from ASARCO after 27 years service. He was a heavy equipment operator, a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Union of Steel Workers. He was a member of Church of Christ.
He is survived by two daughters, Jorjann and Judy of the home; his mother, Claytie of Paris, Texas; four sisters, Cleta May Pryor of Decatur, Helena McCoin of Detroit, Texas, Maselda Thorn of Ft. Towson, Okla., and five brothers, Chester and B(unreadable) of Amarillo, Dick and Luther of (unreadable) and Jim of Paris.
