Services were held at 2 p.m. today at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church for Ben Jackson a retired minister from Soper.

Jackson died Saturday at 7:15 a.m. in the Golden Age Home in Hugo.

Surviving relatives of the deceased include: one daughter, Pauline Tom of Soper; three grandsons; three step-granddaughters and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Coffey Funeral Home, Hugo. Interment was in the Soper Cemetery, with the Rev. Philip Wade serving as clergyman.
