Rites To Be Tuesday For John Morgan

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church at Valliant for John Morgan, 87, who died Sunday afternoon at Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in the Valliant Cemetery.

Coffey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Morgan was born March 13, 1882, in Arkansas and was a retired farmer and a Baptist. He had lived in McCurtain County since 1907.

Survivors include the wife, Gertrude; four sons, Paul, Harold, and James of Wright City and Fred of Sayler, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Stewart of Valliant; a sister, Mrs. Nettie Aldridge of Story, Ark.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
