Services for Frank M. Hayward were held graveside at the Ft. Towson Cemetery Monday, September 8, 2003.
Frank M. Hayward, a resident of Ft. Towson, died Saturday, September 6, 2003 in Paris, Texas. He was 77 years old.
Frank was born on April 16, 1926 in Clayton, Okla. to Louis and Annie (McDaniel) Hayward. He married Dorothy Lee Barker on March 14, 1980 in Tulsa, Okla.
Frank lived in Ft. Towson for many years. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Baptist Faith. He served his country in the Army during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Kathy Sue Self and one son, David Cole.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of the home; five sons: Roger Hayward of Winfield, Kan., Steve Hayward of Clearlake, Calif., Tim Hayward of San Leandro, Calif., Bobby Wayne Cole and Manuel Ray Cole, both of Tulsa; three daughters: Hope Booth and Stacie Booth, both of Clearlake, Calif. and Mary Shufeldt of Ft. Towson; one brother, Jack Hayward of Calif.; two sisters: Gladys Pike of Tuscan, Ariz. and Thelma Smith of Pontiac, Mich.; 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Reverenc Mutt Wallace officiated the graveside services.
Services were under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
