O'Connell Services Will Be Held Here Thursday 10 A.M.
Funeral services for Theodore E. O'Connell, 72 year old Hugo stockman, will be held at the Church of Immaculate Conception in Hugo Thursday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Lievens officiating.
O'Connell died suddenly at his home on the east edge of Hugo at 2 a.m. Tuesday. He had been a resident of this community since 1911.
Prior to his death, O'Connell was engaged in the cattle business with Gene Knox.
The rosary service for the deceased man will [be] held tonight at 6:30 and again at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Survivors include a brother, John M. O'Connell, Monette, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Sanguin and Mrs. Harry Hinkle, both of Hugo; and a number of nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Murray Womack, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Gene Shelton, Mrs. R.T. Farquharson, of Hugo; Mrs. Robert Barton, San Auselnio, Calif.; Harry H. Hinkle, Dallas; Elizabeth Ann O'Connell, St. Louis, Mo.; and John Hall O'Connell, St. Louis.
Burial under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home will be in Mount Olivet cemetery. Pallbearers are Robert Firebaugh, Ray Nash, Robert Herndon, R. B. Fitzgerald, M.A. Sailors and Lawton Robbins.
