Mrs. Rogers Rites Set For Friday 3 P.M.

Funeral service for Mrs. Onie Rogers, Hugo, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Choctaw Baptist church with Rev. Leon Hammons officiating.

Burial will be Saturday at Spiro under the direction of Bingham-Cooper Funeral home.

Long-Time Hugo Resident Dies At Home Tuesday

Funeral arrangements were incomplete Wednesday for Mrs. Onie Rogers, 915 S. J st., who died at her home Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Mrs. Rogers, who was 80 years old at the time of her death, was born Sept. 15, 1971 [obvious misprint], at Spiro, and had lived in Hugo for over 50 years.

Survivors include three children Miss Effie Rogers, Mrs. Pauline Hunter and Preston McIntyre, all of Hugo; one sister, Mrs. Susie Bowman, Spiro; and 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
