Kerbi Leighanne Davis

Funeral services for Kerbi Leighanne Davis were held at 2
p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Ft. Towson School Gym with
Rev. James Hilton and Rev. Brent Coffey officiating. Interment
was in Ft. Towson Cemetery.

Kerbi passed away on June 2, 2006 at the age of 17. She
was born on January 26, 1989 in Durant to Jeff and Sonya
(Smith) Davis. She had lived in this area all of her life and
was a member of the First Baptist Church. Kerbi was a junior
at Ft. Towson High School where she was very active in
basketball, softball, a member of the 4-H Club, TSA, FCA,
FFA, National Honor Society, Oklahoma Honor Society,
Who’s Who Among American Students, Student Council,
and WADLE. She enjoyed riding horses, working in the hay
field and hanging out with friends. Kerbi was preceded in
death by her great-grandma, Rosie Lang.

She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Sonya Davis of the
home; her grandparents, Roger and Ann Smith of Ft. Towson
and James and Nadine Davis of Hugo; one brother, Ty Davis
and one sister, Tori Davis, both of Hugo; one uncle Eric
Smith of Ft. Towson; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family received friends Monday, June 5, 2006 at the
Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in
Hugo.
