Esther Mae Freeman

Funeral services for Esther Mae Freeman of Hugo were held at 10 a.m. May 22, 2006 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo with Bro. Mutt Wallace officiating. Interment was in Tishomingo Cemetery at 2 p.m. May 22, 2006.Mrs. Freeman died May 19, 2006 in Hugo. She was 83. She was a seamstress and was of the Church of God faith.

Esther was born June 28, 1922 in Quitman, Texas the daughter of James VanBuren Dickerson and Roxie Mae (McElroy) Dickerson and lived in the Hugo - Tishomingo area most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph I. “Bud” Freeman on January 16, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her son Billy Dean Freeman.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: One son Arthur Freeman of Hugo, three daughters; Vickie Freeman of Hugo, Joyce Moler of Denison, Texas and Brenda Rout of Joyce, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren along with other family and friends.
