Memorial services for Abraham “Abe” Howser of Hugo were held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Mt. Olive Funeral Chapel.

Abraham “Abe” Howser went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 12, 2006. He was born on February 24, 1942 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He spent most of his life as a carpenter and cabinet maker. On April 6, 1971 he married Loyal Estene Hadley. They have called Hugo home most of their lives. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Ray and Birdie Mae Howser, a brother Jim Howser and infant daughter Birdie Michelle Howser. He loved his family in his own special way and in return was loved by his family.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: Wife: Loyal Estene Howser of the home; son & daughter-in-law: Mike and Judy Howser of Bentonville, Ark.; daughters: Tammi Howser of Hugo, Beatrice Howser and Pam Parsons of Centerton, Ark.; daughter & son-in-law: Kristina and Jon Booker of Sherman, Texas; stepdaughter & son-in-law: Lisa and Dale Fisk of Lockesburg, Ark.; stepsons and daughters-in-law: Mark and Sandie Hadley, and Jeff and Marie Hadley all of Eagletown; brothers and sisters-in-law: Paul and Barbara Howser of Hugo, Robert and Jeri Howser of Hugo, Bill Howser of Grants Pass, Oregon; sister: Carolyn Howser of Edmond, Okla.; sister-in-law: Norma Howser of Powderly, Texas; several nephews and nieces; 18 grandchildren & seven great grandchildren.
