Services for Stephanie Jane West were held Thursday, June 1, 2006 at 10 a.m. in the Bill Darrough Pavilion at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo.

Stephanie died Monday, May 29, 2006 in Garland, Texas. She was 47.Stephanie was born on August 30, 1958 in Hugo, Okla., to James Hines and Evelyn Gene Lomax. She had lived in the Hugo area for 11 years previous to moving to Garland, Texas, and had lived there for the past 11 years. Stephanie was of the Baptist faith. She worked for Baylor Medical Center in the housekeeping department. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ralph. She is survived by one son, Ronny West, of Sherman, Texas; one daughter: Amanda West also of Sherman; three brothers: Mark and James Hines, both of Garland, and Gary Hines of Sterling, Okla.; her ex-husband, Ron West of Sherman, and one grandson.
