Arthur Coleman Ridge, Jr.

Funeral services for Arthur Coleman Ridge, Jr., of Hugo, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2006 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo with Bro. Jerry Cooper officiating. Interment was in Soper Cemetery.

Mr. Ridge died June 22, 2006 in Minden, La. He was 48. He was a truck driver and a member of the 1st Assembly of God Church in Hugo.

Coleman was born February 13, 1958 in Oklahoma City, the son of Arthur Coleman Ridge, Sr. and Ophelia (Lemon) Ridge. He lived in Hugo from 1972 until 7 years ago when he moved to Minden, La. Coleman enjoyed train sets and ran the train set at the Hugo Train Depot for children. He liked carpentry work and really enjoyed fishing with his friend Herman Baggett. He was preceded in death by his father, one infant sister Linda Lea Ridge, his Paternal grandparents John and Rena (Aikens) Ridge and his Maternal grandparents David and Gertrude (Johnson) Lemon.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: his mother Ophelia Ridge of Hugo, one sister Faye Nell Ridge of Hugo, four aunts, one uncle; 16 cousins along with a host of other relatives and friends.
