Services Held Saturday For Mrs. Ryburn
Funeral services for Mrs. Opal Allene Ryburn, 39, were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Central Church of Christ at Ada with Bro. Levi Gentry officiating. Commital? services were held at Boswell city cemetery and burial was under the direction of Campbell funeral home of Hugo.
Mrs. Ryburn passed away Friday morning at the hospital at Ada where she had been a patient for the past 28 days. She had been in ill heath for some time.
She was born in O'Brien, Texas, and spent most of her life in and around Boswell. For the past eight years she had lived in Oklahoma City and Ada.
Mrs. Ryburn was an active member of the Church of Christ and had been active in the Parent-Teacher Association here and at Ada, where she served as president of the organization. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, C.D. Ryburn, parents, Mr. and Mrs. B.D. Maddux, Boswell; two daughters, Miss Darlene and Lavonne Ryburn of Ada; two brothers, Truman Maddux, Boswell; Capt. Herman Maddux, Seattle, Wash. ; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Goss and Mrs. Bill Randall, both of Oklahoma City.
