Earl Richard Glaze The Hugo Daily News – January 21, 1970 Transcribed by Ron Henson Earl Glaze Dies Tuesday; Rites Pending Earl Glaze, 62 year old former Hugo grocer who has been in ill health for many years, died Tuesday afternoon at the Golden Age Home, where both he and his wife have been residents. Service arrangements were pending with Coffey Funeral Home here this morning. A native of Arkansas, Earl Glaze was born Oct. 26, 1907. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Katie B. Glaze; one daughter, Mrs. T.H. Loftin; one son, Doyle R. Glaze, Alexandria, La.; seven grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. L. J. Glaze, of Antlers; and six brothers and sisters. They are Willie Glaze, Hugo; Mrs. Ola Jobe, Antlers; Mrs. Ethel Graham, Clifford Glaze, who home is Richvale, Calif.; Buford Glaze, Amarillo, Texas, and Elzie Glaze, Lubbock, Tex. The family is at the Loftin home at 205 East Highland. Burial was to be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
