Dollie M. Hutchings The Hugo Daily News – January 23, 1970 Transcribed by Ron Henson Mrs. Dollie M. Hutchings, a Choctaw County resident 60 years and mother of W.V. (Sonny) Hutchings and Mrs. R.F. Shirley, both of Hugo, died at 4:40 o’clock this morning in Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient about three weeks. Service arrangements are pending with Coffey Funeral Home. Born October 5, 1890, in Arkansas, Mrs. Hutchings is survived by seven children and 39 other descendants. In addition to the Hugo son and daughter, the children are Mrs. C.T. Owen, of Pontiac, Mich., and the following in California: Mrs. Donald Utz, Idlewild; Mrs. Joe Granger, Montabella; Mrs. Al Morris, Fowney; and Mrs. Tommy Whitten, Westpoint. Three sisters and a brother are Mrs H.D. Wright and Mrs. Lelia Griffin, both of Hugo; Mrs. Floyd South, of Ada; and Orville Westbrook, Shafter, Calif. Mrs. Hutchings was a member of the Church of Christ. Dollie M. Hutchings. a Choctaw County resident 60 years, were set for this afternoon at 2 o'clock in Jackson Street Church of Christ with Raymond West, church minister, officiating and Coffey Funeral Home making burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
