The Vansickle home is on Route 3, Boswell. Newman Vansickle The Hugo Daily News – January 12, 1970 Transcribed by Ron Henson Vansickle Rites Held Saturday Funeral services for Newman Vansickle, 37, whose home was on Rt. 3, Boswell, were conducted Saturday at 2:30 o’clock in First Baptist Church, Boswell. Rev. Milton Kresse, pastor, officiated, and Coffey Funeral Home, Durant, made burial in Restland Cemetery. Mr. Vansickle died Friday in the Veterans Administration Hospital at Bonham, Texas. Born Jan. 1, 1933, in Antlers, he had lived in Choctaw County most of his life. He was a Korean War veteran and a former machinist. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lois Vansickle, and daughter, Virginia Ann, who live in Oklahoma City; his mother, Mrs. Ollie Vansickle, of Boswell, a brother and two sisters, all living in Boswell.
