Maaartha Kathleen Maartin Andrews born June 23, 1915 at Bennington, Bryan Co. Okla. She died March 24, 1973 at Idabel, McCurtian Co. Okla. Buried at Fairview Cemetery March 28, 1973, Vinita, Craig Co. Okla.
Looking for anyone related to this family or anyone who might have known them. Have lots of family histoy to share and I would love to have some pictures of them. I am assuming they were buried at Vinita because they had family there even though they seemed to have lived most of their life around Valliant and the Idabel Oklahoma area.

Is there anyone on here connected to the family of : George W. Walker son of Thigh Carter Walker ?
They lived in just outside Welch, Oklahoma in the late 1800's and early 1900's. My family and I visited the old Walker home, just down from the Walker Cemetery a few years ago and we made contact with a granddaughter of G.W. Walker. I have lost my information on how to contact her and would very much like to reach her again. She had so much history on the family and I have some questions I would like to ask.
Mary Jane Davis was one of George W. Walkers wives . Their picture is in the Craig County book.
I know this line of Walkers was connected to Jonathan Meigs, John Ross, the Vanns etc., but I just don't remember all of them. If anyone knows of this line of Walkers please contact me.
Thanks, Rebecca

The man I had talked to at the cemetery had mentioned about the people not being able to pay, which in my relative's case the state paid for it. (He was nice enough to check to see if there was a marker) I guess we all have relatives that we'll not know any more about except where they are buried, and that can be an accomplishment in itself. Bellinger 835

Query posted by Will, Ogburn on August 19, 2006
for BELLINGER
|
William Henry Bellinger died August 11, 1952 in Vinita, Oklahoma. He was 101 years old. His wife was Rosetta Gumberts Bellinger, who surely must have died earlier.
I am hoping that someone as old as he would have generated a useful obituary, and in general any information about him would be helpful. I know that he was not buried in Vinita, but was buried in Hugo where his daughter Mamie Hoeppel lived.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
