I know he was in the Oklahoma Land Run 1892...Had land ..
then got message wife in Iowa was Gravely Ill...left OK. land..
went to Iowa.. wife: Lydia Minerva Coutant died 1893..
he then returned to Anthon, Custer Co., OK...and homesteaded or
bought land next to the Rogers Homestead...Thats where my grandmother
Edyth Victoria Pettit met my grandfather John Finis Rogers...
she was the girl next over...
