Born 1841 in Mississippi

Died August 14, 1898 in Wynnewood, I.T.

Buried in Hale County, Alabama

He moved to Indian Territory in 1876 from Cook County, Texas

In the Friday, January 18, 1895 issue of the "Wynnewood Republic" it notes that D.M. Carr has visited his boyhood home in Mississippi.

In the 1890 census he is listed as 49 years old.

His wife, Ella J., filed for a pension in 1915.  She was living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at this time.
