Private

Company I, 4th Mississippi Cavalry

Born June 21, 1841 in Fulton, Mississippi

Died May 11, 1921in Wynnewood, Oklahoma

Buried at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, Oklahoma and does have a military headstone

In the 1910 census James lists his age as 67 and birthplace as Alabama and his pension application says he was born in Franklin County, Alabama.  Fulton, Mississippi is listed as birthplace on his tombstone.  Is this the same man?

James was a farmer in the Wynnewood area.

His wife, Ester Ann is also buried at Oaklawn.   She was born December 12, 1846 in Fulton, Mississippi and died February 16, 1924

The Roster shows him in the 2nd Mississippi Cavalry while his tombstone shows the 4th?

They are other Frosts buried at Oaklawn who may be family members
