Benjamin lived 8 miles east and one mile north of Wynnewood, near Iona, Oklahoma but in 1880 he was in Howard County, Arkansas

He married Tiney Jane Simpson on March 10, 1872, in Sevier County, Arkansas.

He listed his religion as "Christian"

Benjamin enlisted October 30, 1861 in Sevier County, Arkansas, at the age of 19, but this should make his birthdate 1842 rather than 1845?
