Born in 1831

Died December 21, 1915 at Klondike, Garvin County, Oklahoma

Buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley

John married Lucinda in March of 1859, in Scott County, Virginia

They came to Oklahoma in 1912, probably from Virginia and he was living with his son, northwest of Wynnewood, near Klondike, when he died in 1916

Lucinda applied for a pension in 1916 but the War Department failed to find a record of his service. Oklahoma granted her a pension anyway
