Buried in Wynnewood View Cemetery, southwest of Wynnewood. Confederate Marker applied for January 10, 2000

William came to this area in 1890

He married Annie Mildred August 23, 1867 in Missouri

He was a farmer

His name and unit are from the 1905 'Chickasaw Souvernir'. His date of death from Annie's 1915 pension application is January 11, 1913 while his tombstone reads January 12, 1914

William is the grandfather of Carl and Elwood Morris
