John & Lenora Herring with 4 oldest children (about 1917)

John Benjamin Herring & Lenora Wise were married January 8, 1903, Fauster, OK.
The family lived in Garvin County off and on approximately during the years 1903 - 1930.   

John & Lenora Herring, about 1940 - 1941

Lenora Herring about mid 1950's standing in her flower garden.
Lenora died April 17, 1970 in Ada OK and is buried in the 
Rosedale Cemetery in Ada.

 

John Benjamin Herring, about 1939.
John was born January 11, 1883 in Hill County TX.
He died at Roff OK February 20, 1942 and is buried in McGee Cemetery at
Stratford OK.


Lenora Herring about the time she married John Herring in 1903.

Marie Herring on her 16th birthday
Marie was born July 16, 1921
Marie died in San Antonio TX August 22, 1990

Goldena Herring July 4, 1939.
Goldena was born January 6, 1926 in Wynnewood.
She married James William Wallis on December 27, 1944 in California.
Goldena & James had 1 daughter, Carolyn Ruth Wallis

Jewel Herring, about 1925
Jewel was born December 3, 1903 in Paoli. She married Harvey Sexton. 
They had 1 daughter who did not survive.
Jewel died January 22, 1970 in Ada OK.

George Washington Herring
Born December 4, 1853 in Alabama
Died June 1, 1915 Stratford OK
Buried at McGee Cemetery, Stratford OK
George Herring was married to Laura Anna "Annie" Green. They moved 
from Texas to Oklahoma sometime between 1883 and 1891.
