Christabel was born February 11, 1913 in Tonkawa, Oklahoma to Mayward and Ludie (Moss) Hembree.She was a member of Osage Hill Christian Church and loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was also a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.Christabel was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 65 years, Estle Shroff; a brother, Harry Hembree and sister, Lavera Burks.Funeral service was held at 12:30 P.M. Tuesday, May 31, 2005, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Garden of the Apostles, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.If friends desire, donations can be made (in Christabel's memory) to Good Shepherd Hospice, 6218 S. Lewis, Tulsa, OK 74136. Survived By: her loving children, Ronnie Shroff and his wife Shirley and Carolyn Matlock and her husband Glen; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Warren, Bob, Harold and Eddie Hembree and 2 sisters, Winfred Owens and Betty Fehrenbach; along with several other family members and friends.
