Reba Lois Fitzpatrick

Reba Lois FitzpatrickReba Fitzpatrick was born in Cushing, Oklahoma to Jesse O. Rosson and Anna Lou (Everett) Rosson. The family moved to Guthrie, Oklahoma in the early 1930’s where Reba attended public schools.
She met Leonard Killebrew, through her brother Kenneth, close friends with Leeroy Walter who was dating Lenore Killebrew, Leonard’s sister. She and Leonard were married May 9, 1944, while Leonard was serving in the Army-Air Corp during World War II. After the war, the couple moved to a farm outside of Mulhall, Oklahoma, where they lived until his death in 1964.
Reba and the six children moved to Guthrie in August, 1964. Although her primary avocation was homemaker, mom and grandmother, she worked as receptionist for Dr. Joe Drake for several years. Reba was also married to Paul (Mickey) Fitzpatrick and her youngest son was born during the time she lived in Guthrie.
She moved back to Mulhall in 1977 with the two youngest children. Her love for small children led to jobs with the Mulhall/Orlando Schools as a cook and at Panther Playhouse. She also belonged to a canasta club and enjoyed spending time with friends and family and time in her garden and yard.
She is survived by her children, Judy Killebrew, Lynne Harvey and husband, Lee, Susan Evans and husband, Dan, Kathy Brown, John Killebrew and fiancée Karen Falato, Jean Shadow and husband, Don and Paul Michael Fitzpatrick. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Todd Harris, Clancy Thomas, Margo (Harvey) Randol, Matthew Harvey, David Brown, Marvin Harvey, Michael Brown, Tim Harvey, Lindsey Killebrew, Rachel (Donaldson) Gallaway, Shelby Fitzpatrick, Garrett Fitzpatrick, Logan Tiege Fitzpatrick, Emily Lansford, and Brady Lansford. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; Lakin Thomas, Landynne Thomas, Sean Harvey, Ashlee Harvey, Leah Harvey, Abbie Randol, Nicholas Thomas, Wesley Thomas, Katelyn Thomas, RiLyn Fitzpatrick, Ellasyn Gallaway and Elliott Jane Harris, sisters, Betty Hamilton and Barbara Andrews and husband Eugene ; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Elliott Evans and John Leonard Killebrew, her parents and two brothers, Harrell (H.B.) Rosson and Kenneth (A.K.) Rosson and a host of friends.
Services will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the Mulhall Christian Church at 2:00 p.m. with Jacob Russell officiating. Internment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie. Visitation will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. with family receiving guests, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The casket will be closed during the funeral services.
