Zachariah Ferris

Celebration of life service for Zachariah “Zac” Ferris, 33, of Guthrie, OK will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Smith Memorial Chapel. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Zac was born on January 14, 1978 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK to L.C. and Sheila Mary Lee (Pinkston) Ferris, Jr. He passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City.
Zac attended and graduated from Guthrie Public Schools. He was a home builder.
He is survived by his parents L.C. and Sheila M. Ferris of Guthrie; son Jason Calvert-Ferris of Guthrie; grandson Bentlee Charlez Ferris; and his fiancée Summer Dawn Anderson of Guthrie.
Zac was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lloyd C. Ferris, Sr. and Wanda J. (McNabb) Mills and maternal grandparents Lee Pinkston and Muriel Sheila Pinkston.
Visitation will be Thursday, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, specify cancer research, 825 Northeast 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104.
