HOWELL JOHN B
John B. Howell (born 8-29-1921) was known as J.B. He
wrote a book regarding his experiences as a POW. Unfortunately, John died
before the book was published. His wife had it published after his death.
The book tells the horrifying story of how they were treated as POW's. John
suffered his whole life from the treatment he received in prison camp, and
from experimental drugs used on him later in the VA hospital. John died Nov.
21, 1967.
