JOURNAL 2 Pushmataha County, Oklahoma Transcribed by: Teresa Young Page 193. Tuesday, September 6th, 1910. Court convened pursuant to adjournment, Present and presiding the Honorable Malcolm E. Rosser, Judge of the District Court, and also present, A. J. Arnote, Esq County Attorney, Wm. Ellis, Sheriff, and P. W. Hudson, Clerk. And whereupon the following proceedings were had, to-wit: GRAND JURY REPORT NO. 1. Now comes the Grand Jury heretofore lawfully empanelled in charge of their sworn bailiff, and through their foreman, J. H. Miller, all members, twelve in number being present, return into open court the following Indictments, each marked "A TRUE BILL" and signed by their foreman, to-wit: No. 79, State of Oklahoma vs S. F. Hiser, Larceny of Cow No. 80, State of Oklahoma vs S. F. Hiser, Larceny No. 81, State of Oklahoma vs S. F. Hiser, Larceny No. 82, State of Oklahoma vs S. F. Hiser, Larceny No. 83, State of Oklahoma vs S. F. Hiser, Larceny No. 84, State of Oklahoma vs John Freeman, Murder No. 85, State of Oklahoma vs Elijah Pride, Assault with sharp & dangerous weapon. No. 86, State of Oklahoma vs Simmons Bond, alias Charlie Wilson, Obtaining money under false pretenses. All of which Indictments are by the Court ordered filed in open court in the presence of the entire panel of the Grand Jury, which is accordingly done. And it is further ordered by the Court that Bench Warrant issue for all defendants at large charged by said indictments, with a felony. And the Grand Jury retired in charge of their sworn bailiff to take up further business. GRAND JURY REPORT NO. 2. Now on this the 6th day of September 1910, comes the Grand Jury heretofore lawfully empanelled in charge of their sworn, and through their foreman, J. H. Miller, all members twelve in number being present, return into open court the following indictment, each marked, "A TRUE BILL" and signed by their foreman, to-wit: No. 87, State of Oklahoma vs Jeff McDonald, Assault with Dangerous Weapon. Said Indictment is by the Court ordered filed in open court in the presence of the entire panel of the Grand Jury, which is accordingly done. And the Grand Jury further report to the Court that one of the Grand Juryman is sick, and the court being well and sufficiently advised excused Theo Hollins, the sick Juryman, from the panel, and discharged the panel and ordered that the Grand Jury be re-empanelled.
